This week before I show you my desk I have to tell you something! .... Work is getting in the way of my card making, my blogging and my visiting your work desks!! :-(

You will be able to see in this pic the mountain of Angels that need to be put on Christmas cards, a box of stamps that needs putting away, my new cricut cartridge I am busting to try out and not much else....ooh a Christmas card I finished last night that will end up remaining on my drying rack (hehe my cricut) for the next week before I get my lazy butt into gear to do something with it!

Hoot and Mistletoe Christmas

I made this tonight for a couple of challenges. The first being the Sketches In Thyme - Tuesday Takes # 3 (see sketch below) as I just can not go past a sketch....which I have probably told you many times before today! I also incorporated The Cupcake Inspirations Challenge # 88 (see image of cupcake below). When choosing my image I decided on a Digistamp Boutique which makes this card also eligible for entry into their December Challenge. And I have entered it into the Bizzy Bec's December Challenge as the theme was Christmas!

Shades of Purple

Well I had to make my last batch of cards for the Aussie Card Swap for this year (yes I know I was leaving it a bit late) and the theme this month (or should I say last month) was ' Anything Goes'. Some may find this easier but I don't as I don't know what to do....this is probably why I am doing November's cards in December!!

I decided to make it Monochromatic to make it suitable for the PaperPlay Challenge Week 48; this is the first time have have entered their challenges!

So every year I scour through card magazines to come up with an ideas, this year I have come up with the following and as I am making around 40 each I make a design that is very simple with as few elements as possible.

Uptown Angel - Very Pink!!

Well, Good Afternoon fellow bloggers. I have had an eventful day and I don't think I will go into detail but to cut an embarrassing story short it started with me slipping on my tiled floor and ending up with a sore tush!! Still in a little pain but will manage to see the day out!

I'm sooo excited - I received a blog Award

I have been soooo lucky this week to receive an award from my Fantastic BFF Suze; it's the "I got the Attitude Blog Award".

Now I have to tell you three things that make me - "ME"! Then I can pass this award onto three worthy bloggers of my choice.

I found this tricky but managed to get a list together.

1. I've always been a bit of a Tom-boy and due to this my career path lead me to a very male-dominate field
2. I can be a little anal, excessive compulsive or what ever other words that can describe this sort of behaviour
3. Addicted to stationery too...I've tried to seek help but to no avail. Maybe this addiction is why I love paper craft soo much. Actually I think this addiction extends to stamps, and maybe ribbons...and also....ooh I could go on but best I stop here!!

What's On your Workbench? Wednesday

I look forward to this time of week, it actually makes me take stock in what needs to be put away and what projects I need to finish.

This week I am disappointed because the same printed digis are still floating around on my desk with no sign of colour or design!! I did have great plans for that turkey...maybe for next year now!!

And I am not really sure I even like the Christmas card I finished yesterday. :-(
